This painting has reared me through an initiation. It has been a ceremony unto its self. I've been brought to my knees in awe and praise to Great Spirit, I feel that it has harmonized me into alignment with my own medicine path as a painter, as a conduit, a hollow bone for the breath of Great Spirit. For this is an aspect of all of us, if we but ask and invite it.

I'm compelled to paint, not just paint. To render, like a 3-D printer on a micro scale, slices of visionary content from other realms of light. But this art is not for galleries. The walls of temples, sacred spaces, homes, hearts are where I wish to hang these heARTifacts.

Just as Ganesha does, I've felt it empowering me to move through, over, around, even deconstruct perceived obstacles. I don't know if I could have or would have carried this one so deeply, were it not for the loving support and embrace of such a beautiful community. I've been seen and witnessed by evvveerryonnee in the midst of this piece. I've been gifted to witness just how deep the love of our community is. For this heartifact would not be as it is without the open and loving hearts of all those who've witnessed it's bEarthing.
